An original series in development, Gun Day is a poetry-driven thriller in a near future where every American is required by law to own and carry a handgun – even high school students. A teen drama quickly escalates into a tense thriller with life-or-death stakes as hallways become hunting grounds.
Our aim is to inject a sense of clarity into the heart of the national gun violence debate by taking the gun lobby’s favorite maxim, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” and putting it to the test within a compelling narrative. Gun Day offers a safe way to ask ‘Is arming everyone really the answer?’
Gun Day’s development team consists of co-creators James Parris and Matthew Sidney Long and is currently expanding as we seek key talent and finance value additions.
